Director Sales — Structural Heart Disease, North America

Job Description


The Director of Sales (DS) is the owner of developing account relationships and deployment of Circle sales strategies to acquire new B2B customers, hospitals, clinic accounts and or within our installed base. Additionally, the DS is responsible for deploying corporate resources for "solutions-selling" to help our customers achieve their CMR/CT objectives through our comprehensive product platforms and service offerings. The SHD component of the position has a unique, strategic and cross-functional role and is responsible for leadership and working collaboratively with our SHD lead in EU, and the home office product development and marketing teams, in an "up & downstream marketing" capacity. Additionally, the DS will play an integral role with Circle’s existing North American SHD KOLs, whilst developing others, and bringing cohesion and coordination to the successful development of Circles designated products. This is a senior position that supports and participates at a level that influences important decisions to drive long-term revenue. The position reports to the VP Sales.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities
  • Sales of Circle SHD product suite — responsible for the creation and coordination of account plans, driving our key customer and platform strategies with decision makers and influencers
  • Product installation and application training in concert with the Clinical Application Specialists — coordinating and collaborating with our internal team in an effort to address customer and market requirements
  • Establishing and managing customer relationships — enabling delivery of customer and Circle aligned solutions that result in sales execution to plan
  • Coordination with SHD lead, internal teams to ensure successful introduction and execution of new product initiatives and ensuring all relevant elements of the solution are delivered to meet requirements
  • Working in concert with the marketing and sales teams to define, demonstrate and position our solutions to maximize Circle revenues
  • Establishing educational partnerships with training centers in territory Having Circle products used in important trials
  • Acquire superb product knowledge and maintain a continuous loop of knowledge in SHD/CMR/CT and Circle solutions
  • Provide customer feedback to the development team — regional knowledge regarding trends in the market
  • Documentation and management of customer contacts and negotiations within SFDC
Education and Qualifications
  • Post secondary education
  • Minimum of 10 years of medical industry experience
  • Knowledge of medical corporate customers who attend TCT, TVT and PCR Valve
  • Experience selling into corporate customers
  • Excellent communication skills — verbal and written
  • Customer friendly and problem solving oriented, representative and responsible
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Experience with cardiac MRI and cardiac CT post processing applications
  • Experience in sales and distribution
  • Pro-active and able to adapt new domains quickly
  • Team player with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Committed and showing initiative
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
  • Superb command of the English language and written word, French an asset
  • Living in the US or Canada, ability to travel approximately 30‐40%
