Software QA Analyst

We are seeking a talented software professional that is passionate about quality to join our QA team. You will be part of a creative development team working on challenging problems, while learning from others in an agile and dynamic environment.


General Responsibilities
  • develop, update and execute automated test suites
  • create and maintain test cases in our test case repository
  • perform functional, integration, regression, performance testing on multiple platforms (Mac, Windows, Linux)
  • identify and report issues found during testing
  • work closely with software developers and managers to understand user scenarios, requirements, and typical usage workflows
  • maintain test environments and hardware
  • other general software testing activities when required
Technical Skills/Experience
  • 2+ years of software testing experience
  • ability to write automated test scripts from manual test cases
  • experience designing and developing tests cases from specifications and requirements documents
  • experience with exploratory testing and ability to formulate manual test cases to simulate user workflow
  • good understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • solid background in testing methodologies and software development life cycle
Beneficial Experience/Skills
  • experience with Froglogic Squish, or similar test automation tools
  • working experience with Javascript and Ruby
  • working knowledge of the validation process in a regulated environment
Educational Requirements
  • minimum technical diploma in computing science or related field
  • bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field is preferred
