Web Application Developer

Position Description

 

Circle Cardiovascular Imaging Inc. is looking for a Web Application Developer in the field of medical image processing and analysis. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HTML and JavaScript front-end application development, restful web services and object oriented design with experience in an agile development environment. Experience in PHP, SQL Databases and/or general knowledge of the medical imaging software field is considered an asset.

 

Reponsibilities
  • Develop and maintain web-based GUI for medical software
  • Develop and maintain web application business layer for medical software
  • Develop and maintain database layer for medical software
  • Work closely with scientific advisors and physicians to develop interface for solving clinical problems
  • Work closely with regulatory and quality assurance engineers to ensure development of quality software
Must-Have Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of industry experience in web application development
  • Experience in object oriented programming and design
  • BSc, MSc or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
Beneficial Skills & Experience
  • Experience with front-end JavaScript development and JavaScript MVC/MVVM frameworks
  • Experience with PHP 5
  • Experience with HTML and CSS
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or SQLite
  • Experience with Installer development on Windows/Mac
  • Experience with Deployment on Windows/Mac/Linux with Apache HTTP Server
  • Experience with Mac OS X development using Cocoa/Objective-C
  • Experience with DICOM protocol and images (MR and CT)
  • Experience in the medical imaging software industry
