Feature Overview

  • Automatic T2/T2* mapping, including color coding
  • Display of the decay curve fit with standard deviations for data quality check
  • Various curve fitting algorithms
  • Custom setting of error tolerance and coefficient of determination
  • Correction for background noise by curve truncation or baseline subtraction
  • Color–coded overlay
  • Optional map output as greyscale DICOM Image
  • Optional save
  • Report of absolute iron quantification
  • Assessment of global and regional T2 times
  • Motion correction
  • Various fitting options
  • T2 map generation
  • Analysis of inline or cvi42 generated maps
  • Customizable colour look-up table
  • For 1.5 T systems the absolute iron quantification along with the T2* measurement will be reported.
  • New 3 parameter offset fit has been added to the fit correction methods to account for noise and artifacts (SI = P0 x e-TE/T2* +C ).
  • In addition to the greyscale map, cvi42® now generates parametric images for the R2 value (combined into one series)

Benefits

  • When iron overload is present, the heart is the most vulnerable organ and must be closely monitored. T2* analysis, completed in just a minute, is the most patient friendly diagnostic modality due to it's non-invasive and non-ionizing nature.
  • T2* mapping visualizes hemorrhage, which is a harmful prognostic factor
